Terms of Service

Last updated: October 13, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of https://novamentra.com (the "Site") and the classes, masterclasses, and courses offered by NovaMentra ("NovaMentra," "we," "us," or "our") (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing the Site or registering for any Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to register for a class on behalf of yourself or a minor. If you are registering a minor (such as a student under 18) for a class, you represent that you are their parent or legal guardian, or otherwise authorized to register them, and that you accept these Terms on their behalf.

2. Registration

Registering for a class requires a NovaMentra account. For a free class, your seat is confirmed when you complete registration, subject to availability. For a paid class, your seat is confirmed only once your payment has been received through PayPal; until then no seat is held. If a class is full you may be placed on a waitlist, and no payment is taken unless a seat is offered to you.

3. Class Availability & Changes

Class schedules, instructors, formats (online, on-site, or hybrid), pricing, and availability are subject to change without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify registered students of any material changes to a class they have registered for or enrolled in.

4. Payments

All payments are processed by PayPal. NovaMentra does not see or store your payment card or PayPal login details, and PayPal's own terms apply to your use of its service. Prices are shown in US dollars on each class page, and the amount charged is the price shown at checkout. If a payment cannot be completed, your seat is not held.

A discount code lowers the price of the booking it is applied to. It has no cash value, may be limited (to certain classes, to a number of uses, to a period of time), and cannot be combined with another code on the same booking.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation and refund terms are described in our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6. Code of Conduct

When participating in NovaMentra classes (online or in person), you agree to: treat instructors and fellow students with respect; refrain from disruptive, harassing, or abusive behavior; and comply with any reasonable class-specific guidelines communicated by your instructor. We reserve the right to remove any participant from a class, without refund, for conduct that we determine, in our reasonable discretion, to be harmful, disruptive, or in violation of these Terms.

Messages you send through the Site to a tutor or student must be about classes and stay respectful; we may remove a message, and restrict messaging for anyone who abuses it.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, class materials, and curriculum — is the property of NovaMentra or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our class materials or Site content without prior written permission, except for your own personal, non-commercial use while participating in a class.

8. User-Submitted Content

If you submit content to us (such as a testimonial, message, or feedback), you grant NovaMentra a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display that content for purposes related to operating and promoting our Services, unless you request otherwise in writing.

9. Disclaimers

The Site and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive to provide high-quality instruction, NovaMentra makes no guarantee of specific outcomes, scores, grades, job offers, or other results from participation in our classes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, regarding the Site and Services.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NovaMentra and its officers, employees, and instructors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or Services. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to NovaMentra for the specific class giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NovaMentra and its officers, employees, and instructors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site or Services.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which NovaMentra is registered to do business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site or Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
